SVETLANA LAZAREV PT, OCS
After graduating from Hunter College Summa Cum Laude she worked at the Hospital for Joint Diseases gaining experience in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation. She is a certified yoga teacher. Her treatment approach incorporates yoga and Pilate's based exercises.
BORIS GILZON PT, CHT, OCS
Graduated from Hunter College Summa Cum Laude in 1989. Boris gained orthopedic and sports rehabilitation experience at Hospital for Joint Diseases - NYU Medical Center. From 1993 to 1999, he worked as Chief PT at Brooklyn Spine and Arthritis Center of New York Methodist Hospital. Became Board Certified Hand Therapist in 2001. Received certification in Pilate's instruction in 2003. Obtained Orthopedic Specialist Certification in 2009. Former national level track and field competitor. Presently, a competitive triathlete.
ALLISON SANCHEZ-MASI OTR-L/CHT
Allison holds her degree in occupational therapy from the University of Kansas, and has 13 years of clinical experience in the field. In 2003 she obtained her certification in hand therapy. Allison is an expert in a wide variety of upper extremity diagnoses, as well as in the custom fabrication of upper extremity orthotics.
BEATRICE GIURLANI DPT
Beatrice graduated from the University of Pisa physical therapy program in 2004, where she also recieved her Masters in Sports Prevention and Trauma Rehabilitation. She then went on to recieve her Masters in Physical Therapy at MGH Institute of Health Professions in 2010. Beatrice is a Certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Specialist. Beatrice recently finished her Clinical Residency Program at NYU and is preparing to sit for the Orthopaedic Specialist Examination.
ELANA SIDORINA DPT
Elana graduated from Long Island University with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2010. She has a background in yoga, dance and theater. Her professional interests include treatment of upper extremity diagnoses, as well as the use of pilates/yoga based treatment methods.
YOLANDA CAPIZZANO DPT
Yolanda earned her doctorate degree in physical therapy from the City University of New York at Hunter College. Yolanda's academic background emphasized orthopaedic manual therapy and exercise prescription. Yolanda has gained experience in various phyiscal therapy settings, including, spinal cord injury rehabilitation and post-operative orthopaedic care. Yolanda's ultimate goal of assisting patients in their restoration of balance, movement, and health is aquired through the use of individualized exercise programs.
